Eliana is 28, single and living in London. She’s sleeping with her boss, Single Man Tony with the alligator belts, but is desperately worried about her ‘identity capital’ – the idea that hobbies and interests make us ‘worth more’.

So she joins a midnight martial arts class. Why not? While there, she makes three new friends – JT, Eileen and Dave. They’re an eclectic group of new friends, but they soon feel like home. As it turns out, they all have one thing in common – they’re lonely.

As they vow to help each other with their new life goals, Eliana starts to look at Dave in a new way. He’s handsome and funny and a bit of a hippy. But he’s also a polyamorist. And that just doesn’t work for her.
